Families Preparing the New Generation

Overview

Families Preparing the New Generation (FPNG) is an evidence-based, culturally responsive parenting program offered in English and Spanish. Through eight interactive workshops, parents and caregivers strengthen communication and family relationships, explore cultural values and parenting practices, learn about adolescent development, and build practical skills for setting boundaries, supporting healthy decision-making, and talking with teens about substance use and other risky behaviors.

By combining research-based strategies with culturally grounded approaches, FPNG supports families in creating positive and supportive environments where youth can thrive.
