Dr. Abdulcadir is an obstetrician and gynecologist with the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, University Hospitals of Geneva (UHG), Faculty of Medicine, University of Geneva, and Chief of the Ob-Gyn Emergency Unit (UHG). She is also the founder of the multidisciplinary clinic for the care of women living with female genital mutilation/cutting (FGM/C).  She serves as a consultant at the Department of Reproductive Health and Research, Adolescents and at-risk populations team, World Health Organization (WHO) and at the Swiss Network against female circumcision.  She is a member of the G3, French-speaking network composed by the Universities of Brussels, Geneva and Montreal on FGM/C, International Society for the Study of Vulvovaginal Diseases (ISSVD), and the European Society for Sexual Medicine (ESSM).
